R.G.D. was established in 1929 and were amongst the early television manufacturers, producing expensive up-market sets. They were taken over by Regentone in 1952 but the R.G.D. brand name continued, finally being aquired (along with the Regentone brand) by STC (Kolster Brandes) in the early halfe if the 1960s.
