NOTES
LCD screens had been available for quite a while, but Sony chose to stick with a special flat CRT design similar to type first been seen in a Sinclair set. It is however somwhat larger than the Sinclair, especially in thickness, but a lot of this is probably down to the set uses standard AA batteries instead of the weird (and expensive!) flat batteries used by the Sinclair model.
SERVICE DATA Nope.
CURRENT STATE Off-screen photo [7K]A bit worn and missing its stand, but it does work. The picture does seem to blur on peak whites, plus where I am it is very difficult to avoid ghost images.

The display also seems to be at a slight angle, but it doesn't seem that it is loose and the only other two examples i've seen were also a bit on the cock.

Despite the absolutely weenie speaker in it, the sound is quite reasonable.
