The convertor was designed for the company's V4 and V7 ranges of receivers, released in various table and console versions between 1952 and 1954. However since the FV4 shares esentially the same RF section as their earlier V1 recievers it is probable that the unit could be fitted to some earlier receivers too.
SERVICE DATA There is a copy of the service data on the Vintage Television Service Data CDROM.
CURRENT STATE Basically sound but with a few scratches. The PYE badge is also missing from the top.
WHERE FOUND Liberated from the June 2003 BVWS Wotton Bassett bash. A unit had been obtained previously, attached to a Pye FV4CDL receiver.
