NOTES Click here for larger view or period advert [126K]Externally this looks very similar to the Cossor 1049 and suprisingly on sale at the same time as the 1049. However, internally it is a very different beast making extensive use of the newer miniature glass valves. This change is reflected in the significantly improved performance of the 'scope over the model 1049.

Maybe Cossor were just using up some old chassis ??? Only surely you could fit all the bits in a case half the size !

SERVICE DATA Came with a photocopy of the original manual, though this sadly lacked the full schematic. Thanks to Terry Martini I now at least have the schematic for the MK.III version, which you can download from the service data page.
CURRENT STATE Dusty but otherwise quite good.
WHERE FOUND Spring 2001 Radiophile event for £5.
