ULTRA T671 |
|
NOTES | The
set appears to partially use a crude form of "PCB"
(top left in picture oposite). The "tracks" look as though they
were once a single piece of material. Holes were subsequently drilled, breaking
some of the connections and producing the individual circuits. This is also the first set I've come across that uses the metal base miniature Mazda valves. I'm sure I've seen the same tuning dial glass used on an otherwise completely different Ultra set. |

SERVICE DATA | Thanks to "Chris" for pointing out that the set is actually part of the Leader 51 range, for which I have the appropriate Trader service sheet 1017. |
CURRENT STATE | Slightly scruffy but basically sound, with a good layer of dust on an otherwise unmolested chassis. |
WHERE FOUND | Rescued before it could be consigned to a watery skip. But it still cost me a tenner. |
