NOTES One of number of similar looking sets from GEC. This set has a "thermometer"style tuning scale utilising two pieces of coloured fabric. There is also a push-button tuning system ; it was explained to me how these are set up but I've forgotton again !

With the two grill areas you almost expect the thing to be stereo.

SERVICE DATA A copy of the "Trader" service sheet #429 was obtained via the B.V.W.S.
CURRENT STATE Previously restored and in very nice condition. The switches could do with a lube though. And the white keep-trading-standards-happy PVC mains cable has got to go.
