NOTES Released only a month before the DAC90A, the circuitry is basically the same as that set, the only complication being the additional preset station switches. Of the five pushbuttons on top of the set, two are the LW and MW switches and the remaining three are for preset stations ; initially all three presets were for MW only but this was later changed to two MW plus one LW.
SERVICE DATA A copy of the "Trader" service sheet 1002 was on CD#1.
CURRENT STATE Shiney and undamaged with a reasonably good dial glass. Some work has been done on the set, with repairs to the mains dropper and the typically troublesome UL41 replaced by a Mazda equivalent.
WHERE FOUND Off mate Richard for £60.
