MULLARD OUTLOOK
Volume 1 Number 12 : August 1951

"Our picture shows a stage in the processing of caesium / antimony photocells. These particular cells have a high sensitivity to daylight and radiations throughout the visible clour spectrum and are used for colour matching and sorting in industry.
The complete range of Mullard photocells is a wide one, and covers most current applications, including, of course, cine-projectors. The possibilities of an extensive application of photocells to domestic purposes is not at all remote. Many dealers have carried out a variety of experiments themselves, and there is plenty of scope for ingenious applications in retail premises.."
