NOTES The appearence of this set borrows heavily from the Bush TV22. However, according to the "Trader" service sheet index, the insides are in fact the same as the Bush TV53, though the layout of the chassis looks different to me !
SERVICE DATA I have an electronic copy of the TV53's "Trader" service sheet 1236/T97.
CURRENT STATE

Click for larger view [25K]The large bakelite case is undamaged, if slightly dull (soon fix that !). The insides are suitably dusty but no obvious signs of overheating.

A lable affixed to the C.R.T. show that the tube had been replaced in April 1969. [Link to larger view].

WHERE FOUND April 2001 National Vintage Communications Fair for £190. Eeek ! Still, cheaper than the other TV62 that was there, priced at £395 (and, of course, didn't sell !!!)
EBAY GUIDE A fairly common set, so avoid any seller describing the set as "very rare", they are idiots.

Unless the set is particularly cheap, avoid it if there are no pictures of the insides - the RF chassis is mild steel and frequently rusts so badly it is scrap whilst the rest of teh set is totally unaffected.
