TEKTRONIX 575

Next : Advance 77B

Front View [33K]

  • Presumably around 1960 ?
  • 40+ Valves
  • Green screen CRT
  • Original cost unknown.
NOTES

Another huge piece of quality Tektronix kit. This is intended for tracing the graphs of the characteristics of transistors at a number of different bias settings. However the majority of the circuitry used to achieve this is still valve based.

SERVICE DATA Nope :-(
CURRENT STATE Complete and physically in good position.
WHERE FOUND Another donation to the cause (thanks Dave!)
Main view with all them lovely valves [27K] Settings chart [19K]
Useful graph attached to the top of the
unit enables you to set just the right levels
to slowly fry that darn transistor.
Plenty of valves and extraordinary top notch build quality
mean what else could it be but a piece of Tektronix kit.
Boring side of chassis [22K] Scum [6K]
Note the monster variable resistor (orange) towards
the bottom right of the set. Brutal !
One of several parasites
infecting the chassis
