RADAR MODEL 303

Next : Telequipment S31

Front View [38K]

  • 1950's
  • Single trace
  • 10 valves (eight ECF80's, an ECF82
    plus EZ80 rectifier)
  • A.C. Mains
  • Original cost unknown.
NOTES Quite a nice looking scope and not too big. I did see an advert for the model 302 which looked identical to this one but couldn't find it again. However the 303 is very similar and appears to have an extra metal plate added onto which the timebase switch is mounted. Presumably the 303 is a 302 with a modified timebase and behind this extra panel I wouldn't be at all suprised to find the 302 model number.

The name "Radar" was used by the company Waveforms Limited. However this does not mean that this scope was necessarily intended for radar work as the company also used the name on other equipment such as CRT tester / rejuvinators.
SERVICE DATA Nope :-(
CURRENT STATE Basically sound.
WHERE FOUND Another donation from Allan.

Makes a change to see everything inside is nice and easy
to access, unlike some other manufacturers I could mention.
