A fairly individual design but knicking G.E.C.'s idea of painting parts of the bakelite case so that it appears to be wooden. However, Philips take things one step further and paint the remaining bakelight in a light tan colour.

Of course, being a Philips set there has to be some kind of complication, and this set takes the Philips pre-occupation with silly feedback to new heights !

SERVICE DATA A copy of the Trader service sheet #973 was on CD#1.
CURRENT STATE Reasonably tidy although there are a couple of hairline cracks on the top of the case. As the top is painted in a tan colour, the cracks are easilly masked. There are signs of previous repairs which will need to be investigated.

The controls are a tad wobbly too and will need sorting as this bugs me !
